The objective of this project was to ensure the central sterile services department (CSSD) is compliant to the relevant national and state standards. The scope included reconfiguration of the CSSD workflow layout, improvements to the HVAC system, upgrades to the electrical, hydraulic, and medical gas infrastructure, new wet fire infrastructure, integration with compliant RO Plant, installation, and commissioning management of specialist CSSD equipment (new and relocated), new ceilings, wall and floor coverings, as well as the demolition of areas associated with the scope, all while maintaining full operational capability to the hospital.
